Here is an incredible miniature of Venus de Milo, one of the most famous Greek sculptures from ancient times. She is thought to be Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, and she is beautiful indeed, even without her arms. Every angle of this box shows the lovely lines and details of her form. She is standing on an ornate base that looks like gray and white marble. Please note that she is almost 7" tall - much taller than most Limoges boxes. Approximate size is 2 x 2 x 6½ inches.
