Artoria Hurdy Gurdy Monkey Limoges Box

This monkey will be happy to play a tune for you if you'll just give him a bit of money! He is dressed in an exotic outfit consisting of a red vest trimmed in braid and a purple hat with a tassel on top. Check out that sweet little face! His musical organ is beautifully decorated and has a metal crank coming out of the side. The base of the box is a gorgeous purple with golden Greek key symbols around the bottom. The clasp is a treble clef symbol and tucked inside is a golden coin - looks like someone appreciates his music! The box is marked Artoria Peint Main, Limoges France and is signed and numbered by the artist. Approximate size is 1¼ x 2½ inches.
